Apple Crumble
Topping:
1/2 cup GF flour mix*
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold
1/4 tsp fine sea salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Apples:
2 Tbsp apple juice, lemon juice, or water
4 tsp brown sugar
4 cups crisp red apples, peeled, cored and cubed
Whisk together flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon; cut butter into flour mixture using a pastry cutter or 2 knives. In a large bowl, add your choice of liquid and 4 tsp brown sugar; whisk together, add apples and toss to coat. Distribute into a baking dish or individual ramekins. Crumble the flour mixture over the apples. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes or until golden.
